1. Hardman Farm Historic Site
A tourist attraction, this is a Georgia state historic site near Helen, GA. The place features an 1870 Italianate mansion and a gazebo-topped Native American burial mound. If you want to experience culture and know about history, this 173-acre place has plenty of it.

2. Made Here Studio at 511 Grant St. Clarkesville, GA
Get creative and start making a one-of-a-kind fiber product using alpaca fiber. There are classes available that include weaving, crocheting, knitting, wet felting, and needle felting.
3. Goats on the Roof
If you are traveling with kids, this is a fun place to go. Your kids will enjoy feeding the goats. Don’t forget to try their ice cream too!
4. Nancy Town Falls
A 10-foot low-flow waterfall, this is on a tributary of Nancytown Creek. It is easily accessible by car.
5. Helen Tubing and Waterpark
This is one of the must places to go! The water and fun never end here. The waterpark features a pool, tall slides, and a lazy river ride plus tubing trips down the Chattahoochee River.
6. World’s Largest Amish Chair
Built in March 2013, the Amish chair stands outside the Owltown Market. It is one of the more recent members of America’s Big Chair club.
7. The Big Red Apple
This historical monument stands on the old railway station grounds in Cornelia. It is dedicated to the apple growers and the importance of the apple industry in Cornelia and Habersham County. The 5,200-pound monument is made of steel and concrete.
8. Alpine Mini Golf
A miniature golf course in Helen, Georgia, it features gardens between holes and an ice cream parlor. Perfect for families, couples, or groups, this is located at the south end of the Alpine city on Main Street. The flower gardens are gorgeous!
