Directions to "Matterhorn", "Almost Heaven" and "Chalet in the Sky"

 

 


Use Google maps (www.googlemaps.com) and enter the cross street intersection: GA384 (Duncan Bridge Rd) and Alpine Dr in Cleveland, GA.


This will get you close to your cabin. The following step-by-step process will get you to the front door. (Trying to use the end point in a Navi is likely to get you lost).
Then:

  • Turn into Swiss Colony Development
  • At the entrance to the Swiss Colony Development, take the right fork which is Alpine Dr. (on some maps it is shown as Swiss Colony Rd.)
  • Follow Alpine Dr. (Swiss Colony Rd.) for 0.8 miles and make a left onto Matterhorn Dr. -- NOTE: Alpine Dr. makes a 90 degree right turn after about 0.4 miles
  • For Matterhorn: Follow Matterhorn Dr. for ~0.3 miles and make a left up the steep concrete driveway at 279 Matterhorn Dr.
  • For Almost Heaven and Chalet in the Sky: Go past the Matterhorn driveway and take your next left on Lucern Way.  This dead ends to Lucern Place.  Turn left on Lucern Place and go to the end.  Almost Heaven is on the left and Chalet in the Sky is on the right.  A brown colored wood siding will be Almost Heaven.
